    Students took notes over Southern Gothic literature.  Students read the background for Flannery O’Connor and read/analyzed “The Life You Save May Be Your Own” focusing on elements of southern Gothic, grotesque, characterization, character development, and irony

    –Homework–USA test prep and write a one page (minimum) narrative response from the point where the mother was dropped off to where Shiftlet goes to Mobile.
