2nd period—this is your inclement weather assignment as well—2nd and 3rd period–be prepared to present the speech in class with blazer or vest formal style wear
3rd and 2nd period–Discussed notes over how to analyze a speech (see handouts tab)–students then read and analyzed two speeches “The Gettysburg Address” (on-line textbook) and “the Second Inaugural Address” (see handouts tab) –Students then began working on their own speech
–Homework–Write a speech as if you were running for class president (focus on the elements from the handout) ((if you want to write a speech over a different topic–E-mail me for approval first))
